Mike O’Keefe was the Department of Health’s EMS Training Coordinator for many years before becoming the Assistant Director of Emergency Medicine Research
at the University of Vermont. For the last several years, he also served as the EMS Office’s Data Manager. He is a co-author of a popular EMT text, Emergency Care, 12th edition, and has participated in the development of the National EMS Research Agenda, National EMS Education Agenda and other projects. He was also the EMT Provider Level Leader for the National EMS Education Standards.
