Students as Team Leaders during Sudden Cardiac Arrest Calls: Episode 44

Posted on 20 January 2010 by gfriese

The EMSEduCast continues its three part series about sudden cardiac arrest. This week the discussion is about the role of students during field training, preparing students to be team leaders, and how to precept students during field training. The discussion specifically focuses on making sure students are ready to team lead if they have a cardiac arrest patient during their field training. Bruce Nepon, author of Field Training Officer: Tips and Techniques, shares his experiences and gives recommendations for best practices.

As we start a new semester of the EMSEduCast please share this resource with your colleagues in EMS Education. Many students may also find our discussions useful as they prepare for clinical training, testing, and job searching.
